This year I am up.
Up: Into a higher place or level; in an active or excited state.
Since I started my mission there's been a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes I've felt a little upside down. I feel like I'm just not myself, all dressed up in skirts all the time. But I'm done with that. I'll up my game. I'm sick of being an uptight missionary who worries too much. Instead, I am going to be the kind of missionary that puts up with everything because I know that God will give liberally to those who serve him. I know from looking up scriptures that he will not upbraid them. I've got to make a difference before my time on my mission is up.
I'm going to make Satan upset because I am waking up each day ready to do the will of God. I've got an upbeat personality, and I know that this upcoming year is going to be a success. Although it may seem like I am treading some mountainous terrain, I'm up for the uphill. I'm going to uphold the standard that Heavenly Father expects of me. I'm going to be very upfront with people in the most loving way that I can muster. My goal is to uplift their hearts and inspire them, all while having an uproar of fun an laughter. I have the uppermost confidence that through Jesus Christ I can cause a change. Not because I am great, but because he is.
I'm going to live it up
And grow up
All the while looking up.
